This page describes how the Flower Locator tools, guides and reference pages are produced and maintained.
Who writes the site
Content is produced by the Flower Locator Editorial Team. We do not publish invented author personas, biographies or credentials, and we do not attach a named person to content they did not write.
Sourcing
- Reference figures are taken from primary or official sources — U.S. Code, the U.S. Naval Observatory, the USDA Agricultural Marketing Service, and university extension programs — and each figure links to its source.
- Where no official figure exists, the value is left blank and the source is linked instead. We do not estimate a number and present it as fact.
- We do not cite competitors as sources, and we do not copy competitor text.
Tools
Each calculator states the formula it uses. The math is tested against independently computed values before release, including edge cases such as zero, negative and non-numeric input. Tools run in your browser and do not transmit your inputs.
What we do not do
- We do not publish fake reviews, ratings or testimonials.
- We do not fabricate prices, fees, limits or delivery promises.
- We do not accept payment to change a computed result or a stated fact.
Updates and corrections
Pages carry a "last updated" date. When a source changes — for example, a standard is revised — we update the page. To report an error, email editorial@flowerlocator.com.
