How this calculator works

Total = (merchandise − discount) + service fee + delivery fee + tax + tip, where service fee and tip are a percentage of the discounted merchandise and tax is applied to discounted merchandise + delivery + service.

Every figure is calculated in your browser from the values you enter, so nothing is sent anywhere and you can adjust the inputs freely to match your own quote.

Frequently asked questions

Why is the delivered total higher than the listed bouquet price?

Listed bouquet prices usually exclude the delivery fee and sales tax, and many services add a service fee. This calculator adds each of those line items so you can compare the real out-the-door cost.

Is the delivery fee per order or per arrangement?

It is usually charged per delivery address, not per arrangement. If you are sending several arrangements to one address, enter the arrangement price for one and the quantity, and put the single delivery fee in the delivery field.

Should I tip a flower delivery driver?

Tipping is optional. If you want to include one, enter a percentage and the calculator will add it as a share of the discounted merchandise.

Is sales tax charged on the delivery fee?

In many places delivery charges are taxable when they are part of a taxable sale, but the rules vary by state and locality. Set the tax rate to your local rate; if delivery is exempt where you live, subtract the delivery fee from the tax base by lowering the rate accordingly.
